It is intentional that Hartsville Presbyterian Church is named for the city in which it dwells. We live, work, attend school, shop, and play in Hartsville; and we are committed to ever working to improve and enhance this city. The only One who can truly bring about change in hearts and lives is Jesus Christ, and we desire to spread His love in Hartsville. To that end, we participate in various outreach ministries.

Members of our church lead a Good News Club at Washington Street Elementary, an after-school Bible study for elementary school children. They get to know the kids in small groups, and then enjoy a Bible story, games and music together.

HPC hosts Jobs for Life, an innovative job training program that empowers people with the knowledge that God created us for fruitful work, and gives job-seekers basic skills to bring dignity to their lives.

In addition to our formal ministries, HPC seeks out creative ways to serve Hartsville residents, such as through painting, cleaning, and yard work at the Free Clinic, Carolina Pregnancy Centers, and schools.
